I remember hearing this for the first time like it was yesterday and it couldn’t ring more truthfulness today. The horse world has transferred to so many things in my life in both my professional and my personal life. Even if I no longer have a horse, I still learn so much from that world and I find it transfers to everything.
Why coming back to this thought and this particular quote you would say? I would say that lately, some of my thoughts have brought me trouble. Not the big kind, of course, but the little kind. The wake up call kind where you find you need to press the restart button.
Interesting, how just a simple thought, can build up to something big. People feel your energy when you are around them and if you pay enough attention, from my perspective, they may reflect your thoughts without you even realizing it. In the horse world, your horse is your mirror, so it is even more so important to pay attention. Sometimes you may not like what you are seeing but at least, you are seeing an opportunity to learn, right?
If you do not like what you are seeing, change the pattern! Easier said than done you may say and yes it is easier to just keep doing what you are doing but where does that lead us really? Your ego gets to lead the way and you get lonely.
So, what is there to change really on my side? Express gratitude and do it now! Usually when you express gratitude, you feel better inside and people around you start feeling better inside and so on. You might even make someone smile and make their day.
What have you been thinking of lately? Is there something you want to change? If so, what are you waiting for? Make it a goal!
Thank you so much for being part of my real and virtual life, it means a lot to me!
